Mustafa Gunal (known as Gunal) has the reputation of being the most handsome pilot in Cappadocia! Irrelevant you make think but he is also an unassuming and delightful young man, quietly confident and offering a natural skill in the skies. Mustafa is a native of Goreme, Cappadocia, and delights his passengers with his smile, humour, local knowledge and enthusiasm for flying.

Fatih (pronounced as in Party) fortunately is strong on humour, definitely a bit cheeky and according to legend (his) was born in a Cappadocia cave. If these attributes are not enough, he studied tourism, speaks English well and is a ‘whizz’ in the kitchen. A born entertainer and a great chef, we can’t wait to rock-on down to this caveman’s party. But wait, what about his flying ability? Soars with grace and lands with laser-precision.

Gokhan is the newest member of our family. He is also a local lad from Goreme and following a degree in tourism, started his ballooning life as ground crew. Gokhan moved quickly up to Chief of Ops and on to become a pilot. He loves the outdoors, enjoys running in the valleys, football, and is a speed freak! Don't panic, only on 2 wheels and with an engine; balloons have neither! Recently married, Gokhan and his wife dream of traveling the world in a camper van.

He is not only the youngest member of our team but also the most enthusiastic one. He was born and grew up in Göreme, started working as ground team on summer breaks during high school. After high school he went for compulsory military service as a tank driver and after coming back, worked in several hotels as manager. Because of his great personality and hospitality management skills, his existence in our team as a balloon pilot was quickly noticed. His nickname is ‘rocket’ because of his speed at fulfilling his duties. 

He is proudly the newest and one of the most experienced members of our family. He has been involved in the ballooning business since 2000, first as ground team and then received his piloting license in 2005. He was among the first of the Turkish Hot Air Balloon pilots of Turkey. With more than 2300 hours of flight time, flying over the valleys that he played when he was a child, he hopes sharing this experience with you will be among the ‘best moments’ of your life.

Was born and grew up in Göreme, and father of two young children. Being involved in the ballooning bussines since 2005 and started to fly commercially in 2010. Now with more than 1500 flight hours it is impossible not to feel safe and entertained with him. Ziya thinks it is great hoby to fly over the valleys that he played during his childhood. Being a nature lover hiking comes as first hobby and for sure hot air ballooning is a close second. We are so happy that he joined our family in 2018.
